Foshan+Germany: Foshan Robotation Academy opens to public in Oct.

During the opening of the third China (Guangdong) International Internet+ Expo in October this year, Foshan Robotation Academy will be open to public at the meantime.

Foshan Robotation Academy is the first robotation academy in China, and its also the first oversea robotation academy by Germany Hannover.

It is funded by Shunde District with hardware facilities construction and operated and managed with Germany Hannover.

This is another deep cooperation between Shunde and Germany Hannover after Guangdong Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Foshan Robotation Academy sets three strategic goals, firstly to build itself as the demonstration platform for made in China 2025 to joint with German industry, secondly to build itself as the leading platform for the ecological circle of robotation industry, thirdly to build itself as the innovation service platform for traditional industries to complete transformation and upgrading.

The first phase of Foshan Robotation Academy is terminally set in the conference center of Guangdong Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, with an area of 6,000 square meters and 13 booths. The construction of the second phase has been started since January this year with an area of 16,000 square meters and more space for exhibition, conference and training, which is planned to be put into operation in the following September.

It is confirmed that 16 enterprises will settle in Foshan Robotation Academy. There are 10 foreign enterprises, including KUKA, Harting, IBG, Phoenix Contact, Lenze SE, Güdel, Christiani, IAIT, Fraunhofer IF and WEIDMüLLER. The other six domestic enterprises include Midea, Jaten and Efort.
